Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water supply to customers in Limerick City and surrounding areas, following a suspected burst along a water main.
Customers in Limerick City, Moyross, Knockalisheen, and surrounding areas in Co Limerick are affected.
Uisce Éireann’s Brian Harrington has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a full water supply as quickly as possible.
“We understand the inconvenience that unplanned outages can have and would like to assure customers that we are doing everything we can to restore the water supply as quickly as possible. Crews have been mobilised, and we will continue to keep the community updated as the works progress.”
To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
